I found this on Facebook and the lady who made these stayed up crocheting all night so they would be ready for her son for today (Valentine’s day) for his entire class.
Since she posted it to the comments section of her post there isn’t a link to it but all the credit goes to her for this wonderful pattern she has freely given us to make 🙂
Her name is Mary Sue Harper 🙂
For all who are interested in the pattern.
Use worsted weight yarn (I chose cotton)
Work in back loops only.
Use size G or 4.5 mm hook.
sc 6 into a magic circle. Sl st into 1st sc to join.
2: ch1, 2sc on each sc around, join to first sc with sl st. 12 sts
3: ch1, *1sc, increase in next st* around, join with sl st. 18 sts.
4&5: ch1, sc on each sc around. Join with sl st.
6: ch 2, 1 dc in same st and in each sc around. Join with sl st in first dc not ch 2.
7-9: ch 1, 1 sc in each stitch around. Join with sl st. On round 9 join with an invisible join to finish off.
Weave in end. Cut a length of yarn and weave through 8th round for draw string. This is my own pattern made up last night to please my son. Have fun with it. Idc who uses it. It’s a freebie.
this is her post on her comments 🙂 I wanted to share this with everyone I could 🙂
