How to read a Crochet Pattern

I’ve seen on Facebook that a lot of people are saying that they don’t know how to read a crochet pattern. Which in my opinion totally bites, because I know from experience that it can be discouraging. Especially when you see something that you would love to do but the only way to do it is from a written pattern. I can not tell you how many times in the past this has happened to me and how many times I just gave up and didn’t bother trying the project out because I didn’t know how to read the patterns.

But this past year I made it a point to learn how to read the patterns and started to make stuffed animals 🙂

I found this site this morning on Facebook while taking some me time before the kids get up for the day. It is March Break this week 🙂 I figured that I would share this site with everyone so even if you don’t know how to read the patterns I’ve shared and you want to learn but not sure where to start this site would probably be a good place to start.

I hope this helps and I will be posting Youtube videos that I can find on how to do the basic stitches for the next few days to attempt to help anyone who is wanting and willing to learn 🙂

Enjoy 🙂
